Description
When your hydraulic system starts running sluggish or you’re hearing unusual noises from the pump, it’s often a dirty filter that’s starving your system of clean fluid. A dirty filter restricts oil flow and lets contaminants circulate through expensive pumps and valves—problems that’ll cost you way more than a simple filter change. This Baldwin BT387 hydraulic filter keeps your equipment’s hydraulic oil clean and your system running smooth when you need it most.
What You’re Getting
- 7-inch length with 5 1/32-inch outer diameter for maximum filtration capacity
- 1 1/2-16 thread size threads directly onto compatible bases without adapters
- Baldwin construction that’s engineered to handle the pressure spikes, temperature swings, and contaminant loads that come with real-world hydraulic work
- Works with OB1313, OB1314, OB1315, and OB1316 filter bases for flexible installation
- Sturdy housing that withstands the vibration and stress of daily operation
Built for Real Farm Work
This filter fits Sellick forklifts and material handlers, Toro grounds maintenance equipment, and Gresen hydraulic systems. Whether you’re moving material around the farm, maintaining grounds and turf, or running specialized equipment for construction or agriculture, clean hydraulic fluid keeps these machines running smooth and responsive when you need them most. These machines often operate in dusty, demanding conditions where hydraulic system reliability can’t be compromised.
Made to Last
Baldwin filters are engineered to handle the pressure spikes, temperature swings, and contaminant loads that come with real-world hydraulic work. The filtration media captures particles and debris before they can damage sensitive hydraulic components, while the sturdy housing withstands the vibration and stress of daily operation. Baldwin has been making filters for decades, and they know what it takes to handle farm conditions.
Installation Notes
This spin-on filter threads directly onto compatible bases—just spin off the old filter and thread on the new one. Make sure to apply a thin film of clean hydraulic oil to the gasket before installation, and hand-tighten plus 3/4 turn for proper sealing. Check your hydraulic fluid level after changing the filter and top off if needed. If you’re working with an older system, clean the filter base threads before installing the new filter.
