Description
When your Case IH 885 starts sounding rough and you smell exhaust in the cab, that cracked manifold isn’t just annoying—it’s costing you power and wasting fuel. This complete exhaust manifold assembly collects all those hot gases from your diesel engine and channels them where they belong: out of the engine bay and away from the operator station.
What You’re Getting
- Complete cast iron manifold that handles the extreme heat cycles your 885 dishes out
- Direct replacement design fits your engine exactly without modifications
- Heavy-duty construction resists thermal stress cracking that kills OEM manifolds
- Proper port spacing and internal flow design maintains exhaust scavenging efficiency
Built for Real Farm Work
The 885XL earned its reputation as a dependable utility tractor that could handle everything from loader work to field cultivation. Whether you’re running a batwing mower on roadsides, moving round bales with a loader, or pulling cultivation equipment through tough ground, your 885 works hard and generates serious heat that puts stress on exhaust components.
Made to Last
This manifold uses quality cast iron construction that’s designed to expand and contract with your engine’s heat cycles without developing the stress cracks that plague worn-out manifolds. The machined mounting surfaces seal properly with gaskets, and the internal runners are sized to keep exhaust flowing efficiently without creating back pressure.
Good to Know
Plan on replacing the exhaust manifold gaskets when you install this—old gaskets rarely seal properly after removal. If your old manifold was leaking badly, take a close look at the cylinder head mounting surface for warpage or damage. Use anti-seize compound on the mounting bolts and tighten them in sequence from the center outward to prevent warping the new manifold.
