Good to Know

A new radiator deserves a complete cooling system refresh. Flush the engine block thoroughly – decades of scale and sediment will quickly contaminate your new radiator. Replace hoses, thermostat, and pressure cap while you’re at it. Old hoses fail internally, releasing rubber particles that clog radiator tubes. Use fresh 50/50 coolant mixture and bleed the system completely to avoid air pockets.
