Installation Notes
Installation is straightforward – mount the tank securely in a location higher than the radiator cap, connect the overflow hose from your radiator, and make sure the vent system is working properly. Check your coolant level in both the radiator and expansion tank after installation and again after the first heat cycle. A properly functioning expansion tank should be about one-third full when the engine is cold, giving room for hot coolant expansion without overflow.
