Installation Notes

King pin replacement requires proper front axle support and usually means the bushings need attention too—worn pins and worn bushings go hand in hand. Always replace the pin and bushings together since installing a new pin in worn bushings is false economy that leads to rapid wear of both parts. While you’ve got the front end apart, it’s smart to check your tie rod ends and other steering components since front end wear tends to be cumulative.
