Description
We’ve all been there—you’re working on your tractor and a bolt snaps off right when you need to get the job done. Maybe it’s a rusted manifold bolt or a stripped screw that’s holding up your whole repair. This EX-2 screw extractor is the tool that saves the day when bolts and screws break off flush or below the surface.
What You’re Getting
- Designed specifically for removing broken bolts and screws from 5/32″ to 7/32″ diameter
- Works with metric sizes too—handles 4mm to 6mm bolts and standard No. 6 to No. 12 screws
- Left-hand spiral design grips and turns counter-clockwise to back out stuck fasteners
- Hardened steel construction that won’t strip or break when you need it most
Built for Real Farm Work
This extractor handles the common bolt sizes you’ll find on most tractor parts—everything from exhaust manifolds to hydraulic fittings. It’s the right size for those medium-duty bolts that always seem to break at the worst possible time. Whether you’re working on engine components, loader brackets, or PTO shields, this tool gets you out of trouble.
Made to Last
Farm repairs can’t wait, and this extractor is built to handle the pressure. The hardened steel construction bites into broken bolts without breaking itself, even when you’re dealing with rusted or seized fasteners that have been stuck for years.
Installation Notes
Start by drilling a 7/64″ pilot hole into the center of the broken bolt, then tap the extractor in with a few light hammer taps. Use a tap handle or vice grips to turn it counter-clockwise—the left-hand threads will grab and back the broken piece right out. A little penetrating oil beforehand makes the job even easier.
