Installation Notes
This is a spin-on filter that threads right onto your engine’s filter mount. Clean the mounting surface, apply a thin coat of oil to the new gasket, then hand-tighten plus three-quarters turn after the gasket contacts the surface. Don’t over-tighten with a wrench—it just makes the next change harder.
