Description
When you’re connecting different sized pipes in your water system, spray equipment, or hydraulic setup, you need a reducer bushing that’ll hold up to the demands of farm work. This galvanized reducer bushing steps down from 3/4 inch to 1/2 inch pipe threads, giving you the perfect solution when your larger supply line needs to connect to smaller fittings or equipment.
What You’re Getting
- Male 3/4 inch pipe threads on the outside that screw into female fittings
- Female 1/2 inch pipe threads on the inside for smaller connections
- Hot-dip galvanized coating that resists rust and corrosion season after season
- Standard NPT threads that match your existing plumbing and equipment
- Thick wall construction that won’t crack under pressure or temperature changes
Built for Real Farm Work
This bushing works great in irrigation systems, spray equipment, wash-down setups, and any place you need to connect different pipe sizes. Whether you’re plumbing a new shop, upgrading your sprayer system, or fixing a broken connection in the field, this fitting handles the job. It’s especially handy for connecting larger water mains to smaller equipment inlets.
Made to Last
The galvanized coating isn’t just for looks—it protects the steel underneath from moisture, chemicals, and weather that would eat through regular fittings. This coating process creates a barrier that keeps your connections leak-free and reliable for years, even in tough farm environments with fertilizers and other corrosive materials.
Installation Notes
Use pipe thread compound or Teflon tape on both the male and female threads for a proper seal. The male threads screw into your 3/4 inch fitting, then your 1/2 inch pipe or component threads into the female end. Hand-tighten plus one to two turns with a wrench—over-tightening can crack the threads.
