Description
When you’re out in the field and hear that telltale grinding or squealing from your disc harrow, it’s time to replace those worn bearings before they take out your gang shaft. This greasable Timken disc bearing is built to handle the constant side loads and debris that come with tillage work, keeping your discs running smooth even when conditions get tough.
What You’re Getting
- 1-1/2 inch round bore fits standard disc gang shafts perfectly
- Greasable design lets you maintain the bearing without tearing apart the gang
- Spherical outer race shape accommodates shaft misalignment during field work
- Timken quality construction means fewer breakdowns during critical tillage windows
- 85mm outer diameter provides the bearing capacity needed for heavy disc loads
Built for Real Farm Work
This bearing fits disc harrows and tillage equipment from multiple manufacturers including Krause and Massey Ferguson models. Whether you’re working corn stubble in the fall or preparing seedbeds in the spring, this bearing handles the side forces and impacts that come with cutting through residue and tough soils.
Made to Last
Farm equipment bearings take tremendous abuse – dirt infiltration, moisture, temperature extremes, and shock loads that would destroy lesser components. The bearing itself is designed specifically for disc applications, with superior sealing to keep dirt out and grease in. The greasable design means you can pump fresh grease in to push out contamination and extend bearing life.
Installation Notes
When installing, pack the bearing with quality disc bearing grease, not general purpose. While you’ve got the gang apart, check the shaft for wear and inspect the other bearings on that gang – they usually wear at similar rates. Having a spare on hand during tillage season beats waiting for parts while perfect field conditions slip away.
