Description
When you’re building or repairing hydraulic lines, nothing’s more frustrating than having two different thread types that won’t connect. This straight adapter fitting solves that problem by letting you connect a 7/16-20 JIC fitting directly to a 1/4-18 NPTF connection. Whether you’re hooking up hydraulic cylinders, connecting gauges, or linking different hydraulic components together, this adapter gets the job done without messy workarounds or custom fabrication.
What You’re Getting
- Male JIC to male NPTF adapter eliminates thread compatibility issues
- Straight-through design maintains clean hydraulic line routing without bends
- 6000 PSI operating pressure handles serious hydraulic work without worry
- 9/16 inch hex makes installation easy with standard wrenches
- AgSmart quality construction built for farm equipment durability
Built for Real Farm Work
This adapter fits perfectly in hydraulic systems across all types of agricultural equipment. Use it on tractors, combines, balers, loaders, or any machinery where you need to connect JIC and NPTF hydraulic components. It’s especially handy when retrofitting older equipment with newer hydraulic parts or when connecting aftermarket accessories to factory hydraulic systems.
Made to Last
Farm hydraulics operate under demanding conditions with high pressure, vibration, and temperature extremes. This adapter is manufactured to handle those tough conditions with precision-machined threads that won’t strip and quality materials that resist corrosion. The 6000 PSI pressure rating gives you plenty of safety margin for even the most demanding applications.
Installation Notes
Thread the adapter finger-tight first, then use a 9/16 inch wrench to snug it down. Don’t over-tighten – the metal-to-metal seal on the JIC side and proper thread engagement on the NPTF side is all you need. A drop of hydraulic-compatible thread sealant on the NPTF threads helps prevent leaks.
