Description
When your moldboard plow bottoms start wearing thin and you’re getting rocks and debris past the shins, it’s time for replacements. These protective shins take the abuse so your expensive moldboards don’t have to, and they’re designed to bolt right onto your Oliver or White 625, 425, and 225 series plows without any modifications.
What You’re Getting
- Heavy-duty 5/16 inch thick steel construction that handles rocks, roots, and tough soil conditions
- Pre-drilled with two 3/8 inch bolt holes for quick installation with included hardware
- Sold as a 6-piece set with all mounting bolts – enough for a full bottom rebuild
- Works with 12, 14, 16, and 18 inch plow bottoms on your Oliver or White moldboard plow
Built for Real Farm Work
These shins fit the popular Oliver and White 625, 425, and 225 moldboard plow series that you’ll find working fields from small hobby farms to larger operations. Whether you’re turning under crop residue, preparing seedbeds, or busting up tough sod, these plows see plenty of action and the shins are what keep them cutting clean.
Made to Last
Farm ground is hard on plow parts, and that’s exactly what these shins are built for. The thick steel construction holds up to rocks that would gouge your moldboards, while the proper thickness maintains the right cutting angle for good soil turnover season after season.
Installation Notes
These bolt on just like the originals with the included hardware. A quick tip – check your moldboard condition while you’ve got the old shins off. If there’s any cracking or excessive wear on the moldboard itself, now’s the time to address it before the new shins go on.
