Description
When your big tractor’s been putting in long days in the field, that oil filter is working overtime to keep the engine clean and protected. A worn-out filter can’t trap the metal particles and combustion byproducts that build up during heavy work, which means dirty oil circulating through your engine’s most expensive parts. This replacement spin-on filter is built to handle the demands of these powerful machines and keep your engine running strong.
What You’re Getting
- High-capacity spin-on design that handles the oil volume these big engines require
- Quality filtration media that traps harmful particles while maintaining proper oil flow
- Durable construction that won’t fall apart under the pressure and heat of hard work
- Convenient spin-on design makes filter changes quick and clean
- Built to original equipment specifications for reliable fit and performance
Built for Heavy-Duty Work
This filter is designed for the engines in Case Magnum tractors—from the Magnum 215 up through the big 8950s—plus the New Holland TG, T8000, and T9000 series machines. These are the tractors doing the serious work: pulling deep tillage equipment, running high-capacity planters, and handling the heavy implements that smaller machines can’t manage. Whether you’re working thousand-acre fields or running a custom operation, this filter keeps up with the demands.
Made to Last
These big tractors generate a lot of heat and pressure in their oil systems, especially when you’re pushing them hard during planting or harvest. This filter is built with reinforced construction and quality filter media that won’t break down under those conditions. The anti-drain back valve keeps oil in the filter when the engine’s shut down, so you get immediate oil pressure on startup—no dry running that wears out engine parts.
Good to Know
Before you start, make sure the engine’s warm but not hot—warm oil drains better but won’t burn you. Apply a thin layer of clean oil to the new filter’s gasket, then hand-tighten it 3/4 turn after the gasket contacts the mounting surface. Don’t over-tighten with a wrench or you’ll damage the gasket and create leaks.
