Installation Notes
Make sure to torque the impeller nut to spec—too loose and it’ll work loose, too tight and you might strip the threads or crack the impeller. When replacing the impeller, it’s smart to check the pump housing for wear and replace seals while you’ve got it apart. The left-hand thread means it tightens counterclockwise – opposite of what you’re used to with most fasteners.
