Description
When you’re plumbing a sprayer tank or setting up a liquid handling system, you’ve probably run into that common problem—your pipes or fittings don’t match up in size. This Banjo poly reducer bushing solves that headache by letting you connect a 1-1/4 inch female pipe thread fitting to a 1-1/2 inch male pipe thread opening. It’s one of those simple parts that makes the whole job come together.
What You’re Getting
- Durable polypropylene construction that won’t crack or split under pressure
- MNPT x FNPT threading for a secure, leak-free connection every time
- Chemical resistant material that handles fertilizers, herbicides, and other ag chemicals
- Compact design that doesn’t take up much room in tight plumbing spaces
- Perfect size reduction from 1-1/2 inch down to 1-1/4 inch pipe thread
Built for Real Farm Work
This reducer bushing is right at home in sprayer applications, whether you’re building a new tank setup or repairing an existing system. It’s commonly used in field sprayers, nurse tanks, fertilizer applicators, and other liquid handling equipment where you need to connect different sized fittings or components.
Made to Last
Banjo builds their poly fittings to handle the rough conditions of farm use. The polypropylene material resists corrosion from chemicals and won’t rust like steel fittings can. It also handles temperature changes and UV exposure better than some other plastic materials, so it keeps doing its job season after season.
Installation Notes
Thread this bushing into your 1-1/2 inch opening using pipe dope or thread sealant to prevent leaks. The male threads screw into the larger opening, and then your 1-1/4 inch fitting screws into the female end. Hand-tighten plus about a quarter turn with a wrench is usually enough—don’t over-tighten and risk cracking the plastic.
